May 2022 | Playlist of the Month

Hey, y'all! Guess what? I got REAL busy with my life. Sorry for this unbelievably delayed playlist of the month blog post. 😅😁

Before anything else, I'll be honest with you all. There are only 13 tracks in this playlist. I spent more days walking than sitting in front of my computer this month. My calves had some exercise, and they probably grew a lot than I would like for them to be. 🦵✨ I might have missed so many single and album releases and will come across them next year when it's all too late. Haha!

I've had so many “first” experiences, and it was such an emotionally-charged month. It went from excitement to worry to enjoyment and then back to worrying again. (Hello, G.A.D.!) My mind and body needed some rest, hence, the delay of this post!

Anyway.... HIGHLIGHTS!

• 'melt' by Kehlani is what a positive, intimate, and loving relationship sounds like. Something we're all craving and looking for in this world. I hope we all find that kind of love.

• I knew I've heard 'Desafinado' before. Kali Uchis just made it even better. We've had a bossa nova phase at home that's why I was familiar with this song. Lol.

• Don't forget my one and only OPM entry, 'Mahika'.

Most of the time, I just want to feel hyped up and excited about my life. By this, I meant this Doja Cat super playlist is always on repeat. We all have that 'baddie' side of us that needs to come out every once in a while, so we can shake off the jitters.
