January 2022 | Playlist of the Month

The year did not start for me well. I GOT REALLY SICK. Like everybody else! D*mn this pandemic.

So I had to pick myself up, quite literally, from my bed, and get moving. It cannot be like this forever, right? I did what I had to do. Plenty of rest, prayers, good food, and some upbeat tunes.

And that worked perfectly. 👌

Highlights!

• Before the month ended, I asked my Instagram friends for songs and artists that are similar to "Daechwita" by August D because I will be adding it to my PAHWER PLAYLIST (yeah you read that right)... and they did not disappoint! If eargasm was a real thing, that's what it felt like when I listened to the entirety of J-Hope's "Hope World". And don't forget August D's, too. One of the best. Hands down. I might make that playlist public one of these days. And I'll post a blog about it!

• I've been recently fascinated with eccentric curated playlists popping up on my recommendations. Some of these YouTube's users probably have curated playlist for every specific scenario in life. The "baddie", French café ambiance, and Japanese indie/folk playlists are my favorites at the moment. There are hundreds of others like dark academia, TikTok songs, morning mood... I could go on. These are just a few of the most interesting ones I've seen:
